The conversion factors used here are exact by international definition and the code is tested, but no website can guarantee that a displayed figure is correct for your particular purpose.
Displayed results are rounded to the number of decimal places you select, so they are approximations of the full-precision value. This matters most where a rounded figure is multiplied by a large quantity, as in bulk trade or precious metal transactions. For commercial weighing, customs declarations, medical dosing or anything legally binding, use a calibrated and certified instrument and confirm the figure against the relevant official standard.
Permitted use
You may use these converters freely for personal and commercial purposes. You may not attempt to disrupt the site, interfere with its operation or use automated systems to place unreasonable load on it.
